Truth Hack #13: The Emotion Hack Emotion can be real, but real emotion and rehearsed emotion feel different. Truthful emotion arrives naturally. Deceptive emotion is timed for effect. Liars know what emotion should sound like. Honest people simply feel it. Hack: Listen to timing, not just tone. If emotion appears perfectly on cue, it’s performance, not truth.
