Truth Hack #1: Convincing ≠ Credibility Liars try to sell the truth. Honest people just tell it. When someone repeats “I swear,” “honestly,” or “you have to believe me,” they’re not giving clarity — they’re performing belief. The harder they try to convince you, the less I trust what they’re saying. In my world, repetition and emotion don’t strengthen truth. They weaken it. Hack: Listen for performance. Truth doesn’t need an audience. Save this: The next time someone works too hard to make you believe, you’re being sold, not told.
